This could just be for localized content.  Sure there was that squid thing and other global hits, but the explosion of netflix subscribers just inside of Korea during the start of the pandemic has not contracted with things going back to normal, and they don't share passwords, too.

I think I read somewhere that IFPI weighs EP’s/mini albums differently too. Like they don’t consider it a full album so they consider 1 mini album/EP sold as 0.5 so half. (Yes it’s a stupid rule)

the thing about Seventeen is that even if they stray away from their usual pop structure and do the grand, in-your-face performative songs like these, they still manage to make it sound like NOT-noise in a sense that they incorporate some very interesting elements and melodies and 8-counts in between. That’s exactly what HOT did and now this too  they got me again I fear.

Netflix original didn’t do localized Kdrama that’s more a Disney plus thing. It might only be localized when they are just the distributor (but just for a short time)

Nct released full albums in 2022 and sold  over 1.8M and 2M pure copies on Circle…  Enhypen and Txt mini made the list with selling less in Circle  

They dropped the greatest and cohesive debut album then dipped Where is the theme now girls? The Great Mermaid is that song

that's why they have unit songs in each album. they have Fire for the hip-hop unit this time and it actually weirdly reminds me of Move by Beyoncé.
