I feel like they're trying to be lowkey with the teasing/hype so it won't take away the kr comeback's attention like the The feels-Scientist fiasco 
And yeah, they really suck so bad with the playlisting, not even RR helps

They first announced the release on June 25th, released a 4-5 pics of a damn letter with the title reveal on the first week of august, a snippet in the last week or so? of august and then went radio silent till the last week of september where they released the teaser pics and mv teasers...

Literally tragic, they got lucky the song was good and went viral or else it would've been terrible

OT: On the release strategy, I'm not really sure about it tbh. I feel like 16 days is still too long to have waited, even if there's an MV this time. I have no idea what the chart performance will be like, because I've not really seen SM do this huge gap release thing much before.

But no one asked Aespa to go global? These thing should happen more naturally. Also, It’s SM who started with this global obsession. 

 

Everyone is mocking them bc they’re no demand for them in the US yet. They failed to chart in the Spotify or AM USA, despite having multiples promotions there. 
 

The focus should be on SK

It's 2023, and K-pop fans need to recognize that people have turned to streaming apps like Spotify and Apple Music. YT has already peaked around 2017–2020.

They forget BTS and BP were huge in Korea before going global. NJ, Ive and LSRF main market remain Korea once they start being  a top group they will start promoting in the west (even if Nj already started but they aren’t rushing).
