i hope rca haven’t given up on her yet and will try more attempts at launching her solo career next year. we need at least one other star from 5H :WAP:

She's young and has a chance to score another moderate hit. But all this wait won't help her, she's not a big name with a huge hype.

She's not smart and I'm surprised she's not already been dropped.

They should so Normani can finally release music :clap3:

She needs to follow RAYE's footsteps

Yes. It makes zero sense for them to even keep her, other than maybe they also forget she's even signed at times :deadbanana2:

I was SO excited for Normani's debut album as she was my favorite on X Factor and now even I don't even care anymore. I'm over her now and have no excitement.

Her debut album should have been released after a second single after this bop

Instead she just disappeared :rip: All hype died down and she was over quickly

RCA when she showed up with Fair after Wild Side

At this point, maybe. There’s a lot of competition right now and I don’t see how she can stand out.

Probably because it is abundantly clear that she has absolutely no interest in pursuing a music career. She wants the celebrity status without putting in any of the hard work.

like, how does this girl afford her bills? how can she pay for stuff with barely any songs, no album out and no celebrity status?

i’m surprised she isn’t doing part time retail at this point :deadbanana4:

Yes. Stick a fork in her, she's done.

This is so cruel, are you ok?

Really? Why do you think saying she missed her chance at solo success due to inaction is "cruel" and not simple fact fake Britney avatar? Please explain.

Normani just doesnt have it as an artist. RCA would incur more loses if they keep her

Yes, and I think it would be to each side's benefit. I'm not convinced Normani is very driven but I also think RCA isn't blameless in how long her career has been stalled.

It's not a working relationship and damage has clearly been done. Cut the cord and let everyone move on to greener pastures.

She should've tried pop like she did in fifth harmony or with Khalid/Sam..

It's too late now

Yes. She hasn’t done anything right and she has shown that she does not have the capacity to fulfill the duties of the contract that she signed.

Yes and let her make the background for Camila's songs

This. I’m sure she’d sound decent doing back up vocals in Camila’s next hit

Probably Dubai

At this point it should be whatever it's the best for both of them. If it isn't working just part ways and RCA could try luck with someone new and Normani could look for new chances.

I feel like she surrounded herself with Yes Men who told her she could be the next big thing straight out the bat. It’s too late for her to do anything now, but if she had a different team & different work ethic she could be scoring at least a Camila level career but without Havana/Senorita of course.

Girl at this point I don't think they're even aware that she's still signed with them
