Loser would have been two #1 hits if not for Lil Nas X 875 remixes. This was when she learned about this tactics :spin:

LNX didn't need remixes to keep him at #1. OTR had ridiculous leads over #2s apart from that one week when ME! was released. And even then it was like 300 point lead over it. The only time when he needed a remix to help him stay at #1 was his 20th week, but he didn't drop any remixes that week at all.

I'm thinking about Bey's self titled and lemonade. Both felt HUGE at the time, but no #1.

Like others have said Come on Over would be the biggest. "You're Still the One" made it two #2 which in itself was a big feat because country artists rarely chart that big (at least back then).

Breakaway is a contender!

This was the only album I thought of before entering

I didn't say he made a strategy to stay at #1.  I meant because of a lot of successfull remixes around the song was too strong.

oops, let go and FN were the albums that came to mind... Confessions on a dancefloor too (US speaking only)

Fever!

In all seriousness, it would probably be Back In Black by AC/DC for all artists (61M CSPC, biggest hit peaked at number 35).

For pop girls it is obviously Come On Over, though I feel like You're Still The One was more or less a number one since it spent forever at number two and only remained there so that album sales could be forced up high, meaning its natural popularity was akin to a number one hit's. Jagged Little Pill is the second option, since its biggest hit peaked at number 4 while the album sold 42M CSPC. Come Away With Me by Norah Jones is the best example of this though, since its biggest hit only peaked at number 30 and that was its sole charting single.

Thankfully those atrocious songs didn't go #1 :clap3:

OT: The Fame Monster, Fearless.
