She goes out of her way to denounce a feud with Selena, but then continues to shade with reverence for all things Bieber.

 

I’m sorry, but to those who think otherwise… let’s flip it. 

What if:

Selena posted oddly specific, but not outright accusatory, messages toward Britney on social media.  Moreover, every post of hers on IG has a Justin Timberlake backtrack, or some other reference to JT dating back for months.  Additionally, she posts pictures of Britney shaving her head following some sort of tirade against the world, but with the caption on the picture saying “empowered,” or something to that effect.  And to top it all off, she then she publicly praises Jessica Biel for her style and beauty and wishes she could be more like her…

… Would we not think Selena had a serious hate boner for Britney, lambasting it all over social media for months on end?

 

So then back to reality: why the hell does Britney keep posting things deliberately attacking this poor girl?  I’m sorry, but this isn’t the woman I’ve grown to love over the past 2 decades; In fact, I barely recognize her anymore based on this relentless vendetta.  She insists on posting shamelessly to social media against a seemingly innocent, previously outspoken supporter of hers, and to what end? What the hell did Selena do to deserve such vitriol?  
 

I truly don’t get it.

As someone who loves them both, it’s cringeworthy. However, Selena likely doesn’t even know about it and Britney has lots to process, doesn’t mean her previous posts are acceptable but I honestly doubt it’s based on any kind of “falling out,” if anything Selena probably turned down a feature.

Nah.  As tumultuous as the time period was, I’ll always look back on certain parts of the TCSBS with fondness.  She was - at times - present and gave ? Britney, and it’s the last the tour to reflect as such ??‍♂️
