  1. Translation: "I couldn't find a way to do what I wanted, which was to build something really solid and then build up from there, which is what I've created in my personal life. You organize so many things for a show, and there's so much that—as a woman—you have to worry about. I need to schedule my manicure and my spray tan in advance. That's what I always do, and I don't want that to change; it just needs to be a normal day. Doing a residency was my idea. Now I know, through this ticket demand at the Hollywood Bowl [4 million], that my calculations are correct and people will come to me. I don't need to go to them. Those shows were just a test. It's perfect because people want to see me perform, and I want to sleep in my own bed, so everyone's happy." idgaf this is so rude and out of touch. You're a multimillionaire who can AFFORD to travel anywhere you want/whenever. The people who are traveling to see you have significantly less than you do so to flex that people will flock to you by making their situations more dire is so nasty.
  2. The discussion around her needing help is a pointless one to have on this site given the same people suggesting her getting help under the guise of "no amount of abuse she endured justifies what she's doing here" is coming from the same people who've offered her zero sympathy on the abuse she endured in the first place. These same people have harassed her on this site for years. What's the point of a logical, empathetic, or informed conversation if that's the basis?
  3. Even though I knew she was having health issues, this is still shocking news. Dolly - you were my first diva. You taught me, a man, nearly everything about strong women. I'm so grateful to have experienced your incredible songwriting, your ear for melodies, and to have had the capacity to witness the doors you opened for women in music. You were truly one of one. This doesn't feel real.
  4. Will she be invested in the album by the time it drops? Will she give performances outside of the Chateau? Will she namedrop every designer involved in the project instead of bringing attention to the music? Let's see what happens.
  5. NEED vault tracks on streaming. If nothing else I'm really glad it's gonna give her music platform photos a refresh. I feel like the Britney/ITZ/Blackout era aesthetics encompass her career so much better than BOMT/OIDIA so it's nice to see these subtle changes.
  6. Genuinely shocked. I've loved her for so many years and have been rooting for her for so long. I know she was working so hard on her recovery and career and I can't help but feel like losing her brother a few years back must have made things significantly more difficult. I'm so sad for her and her family.
  7. That's a bold claim That period you're referencing was also extremely traumatizing and invasive for her. It's not to justify mistakes she made but is that really appropriate to call her a horrible parent when she had no right to privacy for herself or her children?
  8. What in the gay heaven oh my god…
  9. Of course not. There will be an alternative excuse other than "I just don't want to do it." The pattern of "the label didn't believe in my vision so I'm abandoning ship" has happened both with RCA, Columbia, and soon to be Atlantic. I remain skeptical.
  10. Came here expecting The Getaway
  11. Ugh I had to leave the DC event halfway through kms
  12. I think this is really weird, idk...
  13. And when that happens and the three of them (Amelle, Heidi, and Danniella Westbrook) perform at the local Tesco let me know what hits they'll be getting.
  14. I could do without BIBO and My Kind for TMTWH and Stranger… But otherwise I like the setlist!
  15. You've wished death on Britney on this very forum and tried to strawman your way into justifying the abuse she endured so irdgaf about the morals you pretend to have when it comes to Gaga's association with a pedophile. You're a grown man so figure out how to provide a coherent argument. Anyway this is hard to watch but given it occurred in March I can only hope she's going to try to do better. It's irresponsible and I'm not really sure how she can get it together.
  16. Ugh I didn't like this at all. I liked some songs from Now and Waking Up Dreaming/Giddy Up, but this
  17. It's never that easy. Not a single person Britney named (and those who could be found via court documents/tabloid articles) has had a smidge of justice brought towards them. Amber Heard didn't name Johnny Depp in the original piece he sued her over. She then became a mockery that ushered in a new era of female victims not being valued in the court of public opinion because every TikTok/YouTube lawyer/body language expert convinced the public she was an abuser herself while Depp got to relish in fujoshi-esque attention. With the exception of Epstein, Ghislaine, and Prince Andrew, no one else named in the Epstein files has been brought to justice. The victims have begged for an opportunity to be heard and have been ignored at every turn. Are you seeing the pattern yet? My heart aches for Hayden. She's been through so much and continues to bravely tell her story. Seeing her, and so many other women who contributed to so much joy in my childhood/teen years, have to suffer as the consequence of being a young woman in this vile industry is so devastating.
  18. I think there's some nuance to this. In the event of paparazzi invading your space when you're trying to go to your house, get dinner with your family, go to the gas station, etc. there are limits (see Diana, Britney, etc.). But she's in Paris. For Fashion Week. That is a justifiable place for press to be in 2026. The optics of being able to attend A-List events and get chummy with other millionaires, make millions of dollars off of people who are giving you the opportunity to go to those events, and then show up miserable by receiving adoration in return is pretty gross given just how broke most of the world is (especially right now). If you just want to release music as "your project," do that. Plenty of artists do. But I don't really have sympathy when she's choosing to be an active participant in the machine she seemingly despises.
  19. She's finally giving the POP STAR persona she's deserved after all these years. The stage presence is there baby
  20. We NEED SNL next
