It was **** as I expected from when she first teased it. Two years and all that hype for this shitty video and song

 

Hopefully after this she finally releases her album because Hit Different and Good Days were great

Why does she release stuff (1 song) after teasing if for like a year…there’s being a perfectionist and being annoying.

nah. if the rumors are true, once the campctrl account on insta gets to 20/20 on the countdown the album will come. you can tell they’ve probably pushed it a bit but i do think the album is coming soon. 
 

anyway, the mixing of this is horrible but i still use. there’s not much wrong sza can do for me. 

The best thing about this is the other song "Blind"... If I was her, I'd release it on New Year's Eve again... it would get the girls posting this everywhere, kinda introspective and lonely during the Holidays.

On another note, "Shirt" is such a regular song... it was fun back then when she posted the snippet on TikTok and we were hyped up for new material. She needs to understand that anxiety and striving for perfectionism won't get her anywhere... she ruined the possibilities of having a top 15/10 when she decided to delay this

There's a myth that when a song is bound to succeed, it's going to happen anyway. It's not true. Circumstances matter, unless you have something that is universal, monumental and timeless, which is not the case with "Shirt". It's not even the case with "Blind", that she needs to release this year in order to not lose momentum. The lyrics are cool, but they can be easily rewritten and replaced by another R&B girl in no time.

Blind was the best thing about that video. And I'm a SZA stan.

 

Somehow, someway, I prefer the looped version of Shirt over this version.

 

Hoping the remix adds another layer to it.

The mixing is not good but the song is so good.
