I enjoyed Hit Different much more than this. I just hope this gets us closer the album and she includes "Guard Down", I've been listening to those snippets for over three years

I hadn’t heard any snippets and I like the song, I know it’ll grow on me as do all her songs. Music video is pretty bad and the violence is tacky and lands poorly and it’s just so corny 

 

But that new song she (once again) previewed at the end sounds soooo good. It’ll be the Supermodel of the album when it finally drops in 2024

music video was meh. she served some looks but the whole story/theme was poorly done. I love the song though, wish it deviated a bit more from the snippet we had but I'll take the bop! I cannot stop thinking about the song she teased at the end, I'm so ready for a new album

I'm bopping  The production is A1 as per usual. Verses could've been stronger but the chorus really carries.

The music video was ... meh. It wasn't great enough to justify all the delays behind it imo.

 

Let's pray the album is announced next.

it already did a year and a half ago but she didn't release it 

so glad this is finally out, time to go overplay it

now why is blind low-key better than shirt....... there are already a handful of soundcloud rips, she better release this one quick 

I like the unofficial version better. It's weird how I always end up liking the snippets/unofficial versions of SZA's songs versus the studio version. It happened with Jodie Foster, Shirt, Percolator, etc. The studio versions always sound so odd and off to me, maybe it's the mixing/production?

 

Also, wish she would have kept the "going back on my word, damn b*tch, you're like 30" rather than "damn b*tch you're so thirstyyy." Maybe I'm used to the snippet version but I think the 30 lyric flows better. 

 

Anyways, glad she's back to releasing her own solo material and looking forward to the start of this new era, hopefully she's serious about it and will kick this era off with more transparency on what's coming, although I hope none of the previously released one-off singles are on it
