I feel like this question is more, “which MPG’s performance style does not connect with me”
 

I don’t think any main pop girl gets to that level without being able to perform pretty well.  However everyone performs differently and resonates with people differently.  Like Beyoncé and Taylor both are extremely good at commanding an audience despite having very different performance styles.  Still neither of them will connect with everyone.  
 

For me Billie, Kelly, Beyoncé, and Adele don’t really connect for me.  But I still respect them all greatly as performers.

Better enjoyed on Spotify than in person. 

I know the Swifties are going to eat me alive, but Taylor is the first MPG that comes to mind.

 

She's such a bad performer in my opinion. Without all the glitz and glam and stage props, she just doesn't have what it takes to command an audience. 

 

Dua Lipa for a time was also a really bad performer, but she's getting better.

 

And Olivia Rodrigo is a MESS. ZERO stage presence. And really messy vocals too.

Artists who's music is mostly target ad material / mall music usually don't have enough persona or charisma to command an audience.

To be fair, that was caused by the audience not knowing the lyrics more than anything. Normani is one of the most charismatic performers to emerge these recent years.

Only when I have to come up with artists that suck live. It's not my fault Taylor is such a bad vocalist and performer...

For Ariana to be such a great vocalist with massive hits you’d assume she’d already have an upper hand as a performer. She just never had much stage presence to me all things considered. She’s not exactly a bad performer by any means, but her eyes are closed a lot of the time as she reaches for those same few notes over and over again. She hardly ever lets loose and looks poorly rehearsed any time choreo is involved. She needs to engage more with her audience or something idk. Im sure she’s had her moments tho. 
 

Dua is another one. She’s just really pretty with little else to offer but I do see her improving a lot.

Rihanna may not be the best dancer or singer out there, but she has good stage presence and knows how to command an audience.
