~6.5 becoming the new norm for pop artists

ATRL lost.

A joke. A manifactured noise that isn't even catchy or good. This "music" is worse than Pitbull songs who at least made listenable garbage for radio. Critics truly lost all of their meaning they used to have. Yikes.

deserves 2,5/10 for the time spent in the studio but nothing more

its horrid, generic and extremely poor muscially

ok and who do you think is leading the discussion especially when a lot of ppl are still new to kpop

How are they new to kpop when they have reviewed multiple Kpop albums before

BTS - BE: 7.0

BTS - MOTS: 6.3

RV - Queendom: 6.7

TWICE - Taste Of Love: 7.3

6.5 is not even a bad score, the Blinks need to stop playing the victim act

This album is absolutely forgettable and basic and it gets a decent score? Are pitchfork afraid of the bots now

Shouldn't have the same score as Hold the Girl

That's a great score for them I thought way less

REAL MUSIC

(4 Walls deserves a lot more tho lbr)

I like the Blackpink girls but this score has to be fabricated. It's way too high

MTE like where's their credibility

The review reads like a 4.something, publications have become such cowards

more proof that Pitchfork gives 6.x to almost every pop album

Basically this

the articles reads like a 5.8 at most tbh

Should've been 3.5

7.0 and under is considered a critical bomb

?????

Too high.

2 for the effort would be more than enough.

Yawn.. They give 6 to everyone with a big fanbase so they don't get bullied

nooow, fans as critics is a problem

Kpop fans as critics tho the way that one critic even went into a MELTDOWN over their BP review too much!!

Pitchfork has become a softie
