In the colder regions of North America, the first day of autumn is considered the first day of "cuffing season", or starting a relationship so that it's solid by Christmas party/Thanksgiving season. Why didn't I think about that? Makes sense that "Cuff It" would be released now, but only to Pop and potentially International Radio, especially if "Church Girl" is being sent to Rhythmic (and most likely Urban Radio). She probably has some "Cuff It" fall/winter merch coming too.

 

"Summer Renaissance" is the only outlier, but I'm assuming her team thought that it would be the second single before Cuff It / AS / Church Girl surpassed it on Spotify/AM in week 1. It still has the Tiffany ad/visual coming in October, so maybe that's the next single on Dance Radio (where BMS peaked at #1)? 

 

Things are starting to get a bit clearer.

Tbh it was unavoidable in the UK, considering how well it's performing on streaming services and iTunes. If they weren't to play it, it'd be weird. But that's great!
