It's about not giving second chances when someone has shown their true colors, like you won't be a martyr in the name of kindness. In Lightning, Charli gives into it lmao  but I like the song

I adore Miss Marina but Charli just makes better music nowadays. She knows what she’s good at, she does it and she knows just how to change things up enough with each release and her writing is just better.

The way I came in here feeling so sure Ancient Dreams was taking this one... mayhaps an elite album reserved for the most elite tastes!

I will be blunt, Crash is the 2nd worst Charli project as it forgoes experimentation of her previous albums and eps to return to a sound that she no longer has the chops for. True Romance is far better in comparison. Crash is at best good and at worst forgettable. Even 

Sucker is better than it and the girls only hate it because Charli said she didn't like it. 

 

Marina on the other hand, showed some improvement and is on the right direction. She is showing promise whereas Charli took a step back.

to those lying to themselves calling ADIAM the better album 

 

some of Marina's worst lyrics are on that album and Crash is literally pop perfection in every single way.

 

Marina's work after Froot has just been on a steady decline while Charli has been mixing and matching oh so succesfully

Crash is great.
