Why am i not surprised it's a bored Britney stan opening this thread and gaslighting the Hive VS Monsters  dumb feud?

Yall will never humble Beyonce Giselle Knowles Carter.  The lead of one of the most successful girl groups of all time.  Billboards female artist of the 00s.  She has had massive commercial, critical and touring success.  Future HOFer.  This is just the victory lap of her career.  Its so funny bc yall be so serious and this is Bey just in her art bag, enjoying the spoils of her hard work.

She is, which is why the obsession w “humbling” her is stupid.  What they really mean is they want to see her fail.

Chromatica

I don't remember a single chorus/sound from Renaissance after first listen, Maybe something will stick after multiple listens.

I disagree.

It was instant love for me, and this comes from someone who doesn't blindly stan anything that she puts out.

They're very different albums that occasionally touch similar sounds/themes, but include a lot of what makes each artist unique.

I prefer Renaissance because I'm a Beyoncé fan and it also has r&b/disco elements which I love. I also think RENAISSANCE was more out of bey's comfort zone and ambitious sonically, whereas chromatica was more in gaga's wheelhouse and a return to sounds she's explored before

I haven't heard Renaissance yet but I stan both Gaga and Bey so I'm not gonna participate in the poll. Chromatica has aged well though imo I think I like it more now than on release. :alexz3:

After the first listen: Chromatica, more catchy and memorable hooks

idk Bey’s album might grow on me but so far I only use BMS, I think I’m not getting the album or whatever it’s just not clicking

I haven’t even listened to renaissance yet but I know it wins by a landslide

The one thats not pots and pans aka Renaissance.

Rain On Me os great though ( TY Ariana)

you've clearly not listened to either fully :rip:  Renaissance is more complex in it's production and leans to 'pots and pans' at time

I'm not a stan of neither of them but I appreciate their work equally and I'm always checking out what they put out because they're amazing artists.

That being said, I think Chromatica is too safe. It's not a bad album but it doesn't go as far as it should, maybe if Gaga kept some of the original concepts with the SOPHIE productions the album would be more interesting. Dawn of Chromatica is better in my opinion because it does go to that experimental route and takes those safe melodies and twist them to something beyond.

Renaissance is better overall because is a more fully realised project. You can tell there are inspirations there from the late 70's and 80's and the production doesn't just pay homage to them but also plays with them and experiments with the sound, creating something very fresh and bold and STILL keeping the Beyoncé signature. It's hard for an artist to take inspiration from others, experiment and still mantain your own style, and I think Bey did that.

So, in my opinion: Renaissance > Dawn of Chromatica > Chromatica

charts discussion] Cardi's UP #1 on Apple Music, Extends Record! - Charts & Sales - ATRL

The albums have a similar source of inspiration but couldn’t be more different… and both are great albums on their own. I know this thread will be filled of stan wars but thankfully I’m able to appreciate both.

Gaga and Bey are such talented ladies and we are lucky to witness their releases.
