Lorde during her debut when she thought she was a walking tumblr rant. She would shade people completely unprovoked, it was quite funny. I'm glad she learned that it's not a good idea and avoided an Azealia Banks-like future.

This group was a complete mess in all their interviews. Kiley was always insufferable. There was never any hope for them from the beginning, like what was even the point

Ngl, I loved her this era. I remember feeling like every 3 days there was a new interview with her shading different girls

I was thinking of this Xtina video you posted too. She and her manager came out as very rude and shady when they probably had no bad intentions.

Yeah that's a good one. I remember Ariana went through something similar re Mariah. She kept referencing/namedropping Mariah and as a result comparisons were made. Then for a few years she didn't mention Mariah at all which is probably when her media training started to kick in. And it was for the best as Ariana went on to successfully make a lane for herself and these days you wouldn't even dream of comparing the two.

 

And they were even able to collaborate a couple years ago which was nice. It would have never happened if she hadn't distanced herself beforehand though.

 

Olivia just has to do the same thing. She's a star in her own right now and needs to show the world what's so special about her instead of making her career about someone else who's already successful.
