Surrounded by drama, an ex, teen angst and heartbreak, both went to Taylor songwriting school and both ex Disney stars, one is brunette, the other blonde, one is younger while the other is a little bit older than her, both pretty, talented, both writes every one of their songs and had Gen z and Tik Tok shook with the triangle drama since more than a year ago… now that both albums from ones of the main pop stars from the new generation… what’s the better album?

I love both of them and don’t really like comparing albums, but if I had to choose, I’d give the edge to SOUR because of jealously, jealously as that was one of my favourite songs released in 2021.

albums i can't sell has skinny dipping so sour automatically wins

It'll be a Wednesday
And I'll be going in this coffee shop
Hear the barista call an oat milk latte and your name
And I look up from my phone
And think there's no chance it's you, but it is
You'll say, "Hi", I'll say, "Hi, how are you?"
You'll say, "How's your family? How's your sister?"
I'll say, "Shannon's being Shannon"

sour is so overrated except G4U

Not when G4U is literally the most overrated song from the album along with happier :rip:

emails i cant send takes a muuuuch more mature perspective on heartbreak and acknowledges her own faults while still calling out people who did her wrong. The headspace of Sour is very much something i don’t relate to in my 20s.

Both really well done albums but albums i cant sell is the one that sold me

they're both so good.

voted for Sabrina tho but only cuz it less hyped and deserved to be just as much as SOUR sice they're equally good for me.

SOUR, easily. The songs on emails i can't send are too same-y, and there's not one song that's a highlight or stands out from the rest. Nothing on emails i can't send is as epic as Brutal, Driver's License, Deja Vu, or Good 4 U. There's also no song on Sabrina's album that's as heart-wrenching as Hope Ur Ok.

sour is actually the most overrated album of all time so i'm going to have to go with the listenable album

dangerousalex

Both are such fantastic albums. I’m going to give it to “Emails I can’t send” simply because each song I’m in love with no skips. Disappointed “Skin” isn’t on the album.

Can’t say the same for Sour few skips tracks filters although it has bigger highs but lower lows.

Fourth lie

Emails is a refreshingly gorgeous album that doesn't plagiarize from Taylor Swift or Hayley Williams. I'll go with that!

The way you described SOUR with your takes but you think you did something :skull: literally SOUR is the epitome of monotonous record, it revolves around the same topics and influences and also a lot of songs sounds very same-y and obviously it has standouts because it has a lot of fillers and more lows…

the blonde girl that always made me doubt

sour is juvenile and childish

Are you sure about that?

I don't really like either but SOUR has Good 4 U so I guess her (though Read Your Mind is a bit of a bop).

Kinda wanna give Sabrina the vote though for the thin mints and spoon lyrics :bibliahh:
