CR is what made me a stan I can't wait to hear an updated version. Do we know if this will be explicit like PBUS? 

I do not understand how they listened to this and thought it was an acceptable remake. They literally sound asleep. I gotta say, I hope they don't re-record anymore after murdering PBUS and CR like this.

Yeah the vocals are super weak.

I don't HATE it because the song itself is still good, but it sounds very lazy.

My expectations were on check after how meh the Like Whoa remake turned out, but now I'm ******* scared. 

 

Im gonna lower my expectations way more when it comes to these remakes. 

 

But my expectations for the new album are ******* high as ****, I know they will deliver, I just know it. 

The bridge could have been punchier, but this is a solid re-recording! Definitely aligns with their current sound. They have been vocal about how taxing the OG is to sing, so I'm hoping they'll feel more comfortable performing this version.

It’s missing a certain OOMPH idk how to explain. The original hits that polished professional mark. This one seems like a cover but with the original voices  

All the remakes suck. But they butchered Chemicals React the worst  

 

Where's the rock-angst? Where the power? It's like the vocal power was gone. It's what made the song, aside from the hard drums and guitars. I'm annoyed.

It isn't as bad as everyone is making it to be but this is lowkey a warning from the girls to stop asking them to re-record old music 

Thought it would be a disaster based on the comments. It is cute, but I'll stick with the original one.

Just had my first listen and... I think y'all exaggerating. 

 

First of all, they ain't Taylor Swift. They are not remaking every single song 1:1.

 

This new version of CR is in the vein of "having a new version of this classic for every new era and adapting the sound". 

 

We had the OG rock version for Into the Rush .

 

We had the pop version for Insomniatic.

 

Now, for their official third record, we have this new version that is vocally and musically more in line with the soft indie rock of A Touch of the Beat. 

 

They sound great, but it was never meant to be a 1:1 copy of the original song. They don't want you to forget the OG version (like Taylor wants to), this is just a lovely treat and an updated version with their current mature voices. 

 

Enjoy it for what it is, they are not erasing the OG. 

Let’s hope they never re-record anything ever again cause this was bad.

They sound drained, lifeless, bored, and weak  The chorus is also too quiet, lacking punch, and drowned out by the production. Yikes. I sort of want to hear Rush but nothing beats the OG.

I forgot about this, it’s not as bad as the reactions in here. The original is always there still, and this is a nice reinterpretation through their modern style
