I know this rivalry never existed but it's so weird to me that they were ever compared by music press/fans. Their music is absolutely nothing alike

I think it’s just because Diplo was hopping from one to another during their early careers but yeah, outside of both of them being icons and pioneers, they don’t really share anything in common
