I saw a lot of girls mention Stripped as an inspiration more than Britney.

 

The only thing I remember Britney’s era is the VMA snake performance.

Stripped sold more overall and had bigger singles. Britney (as an album) was bigger in the US though. It sold ~740k first week and is her 3rd biggest album on the Billboard 200.

 

In the UK, however, Stripped outsold all of Britney's albums which is insane to think about.

I’m a Slave 4 U is the most remembered song from both but Stripped wins overall. It’s Christina’s biggest era vs one of Britney’s average sized eras

Britney had a bigger tour (even though it was only Britney versus Christina AND Justin) and supported a successful movie.

Didn't the Britney album sell more? And it was Britney's third while Stripped was basically Xtina's second studio album only. Britney also had the bigger tour, a successful movie, she was the highest paid musician of 2002 and the bigger celebrity.
