As the the title says. . . 
 

How can an album with Cruel Summer, Lover, Cornelia Street, Soon You’ll Get Better, The Archer, Miss Americana & The Heartbreak Prince, False God, Afterglow, Daylight and DBATC be anything but incredible? 

3 years later and The Man and Miss Americana are the only songs that hold up. Perhaps The Archer. But largely it’s her worst album as a whole. Yea there’s some cute tracks but there’s albums with the same lyrical content that sound much better

Agree. I always forget how good it actually is since YNTCD is the worst song of her career. And Lover is mediocre for me. It just left the album with a bad image for me

Yes, her best album after Taylor’s best album REPUTATION.

No. Is a bad album with a lot of filler tracks.

Reputation is better tbh 

I think out of her last 4 albums, it's the better one. Folklore and Evermore are a borefest and Reputation is terrible, lyrically and musically. Lover has at lest a few nice songs and bops like The Man, You Need to Calm Down and Lover.

It's a good album! It's not as good as Red or 1989 though.

Outside of a few clear duds, it's a damn good pop album. If she had better quality control and single choices, the era would have been completely different.
