Really? Macklemore felt bigger. But both seem to have a majority female college demographic. Idk, Jack’s strongest asset is his voice, it sounds good on any beat. Macklemore’s music felt more creative and artistic. I’m a casual of both tho

No, Macklemore wasnt embraced by Hip Hop culture 

Jack Harlow is genuinely recognized by Hip Hop scene and he has more longevity.

macklemore had way more mainstream/crossover success while jack is more embraced by hip hop culture

No. Macklemore’s hits were undeniable. Jack Harlow hasn’t had 1 song with staying power. He’s only popular right now as a fad because he’s too generic to offend anybody. None of his ****’s gonna be remembered in 3 years, tops. He’s like an Asher Roth

Macklemore was basically a preacher type. Jack is a suave bad boy pretending to be a good boy (like Drake). They're totally different artists. Macklemore definitely had a much bigger peak where he became a bigger name faster, but Jack is just getting started IMO.

Jack Harlow is not widely seen as cringe so he is not this gens Macklemore

Nah, I think Jack could be another Asher Roth. Macklemore also had bigger songs and was bigger in general.

Macklemore felt so hipsterish somehow even though he wasn’t necessarily acclaimed by the indiesphere. he felt like Watsky or early Mac Miller or Asher Roth or even Lil Dicky lol

Jack Harlow feels more universally appreciated and not made fun of. i do think Jack’ll be more successful in the long run 

Jack Harlow seems a lot more mainstream fodder than Macklemore, honestly. I agree with him possibly being the Gen Z Drake, if he plays his cards right. I don’t see anything impressive about Jack’s bars though, while Drake was pretty good out the gate (and declined in quality as time went on).

No, Jack is way more accepted and liked in the hip hop and black community in general than Macklemore ever was.
