Wonyoung is often reported as the 4th gen it girl and IZ*ONE debuted in 2018 so it's pretty much considered the cut off date. But that's just how generations work, some are longer, some are shorter and I do believe some groups may be considered different generations even if debuted in the same year, just like we don't have the same age of our cousins even though we're the same generations or sometimes we have uncles with the same ages as us even though they're the generation before.

They recorded a full mini album and filmed an MV. There used to be a pic going around of the MV set and it was allegedly a ballerina concept, but they were also going to have songs that were more dance/international focused, like this one which is similar to Say Yes.

Omg i remember that. I was in a similar situation. I really loved Kesha back then and checked out all the leaks. RDR was one of my favorite leaks. Then I heard about SNSD releasing the song and went straight to listening to it. But I wasn’t ready for KPop back then and immediately dropped it

I'm sorry but they were under contract, their very first contract they litrerally had No say, hell even Boa who is an executive was forced into GOT, let alone some young girls under their 10 year slavery contract.

Krystal was under contract but still refused ever to appear/perform the SMTOWN ending stage after the SNSD mess happened. 

 

Plus it was most likely a threat and SM didn't want to call their bluff because of the mess it would create.
