Looks like the Met Ball is gonna be more star studded than last year’s which was lowkey underwhelming. Too bad Selena is most likely not going, it would have been cool. 

Also, this new Bad Bunny album… imagine Selena on a song. I know it won’t happen but I would cream my pants if it did. I wouldn’t mind her using a bit of her music comeback hype on a song with him.

So, next on the list is Saturday Night Live and the trailer. Then we have that Girls power event too, which just checked and saw that Regina King is an honorary co-chair too. Hope more celebs attend, it would be nice!

I really hope we get SNL ugh... . I wish we had some sort of clue if it was still happening, I miss the insiders. 

For the Girls Inc thing I can't find her name listed anywhere but their linkedin post did have her as a cohost. I'm excited for the OMITB trailer and promo to start. I hope they are able to do more promo together and less of zoom call in type. I think at least Martin and Sel will since they are both in LA and they would join Steve for the NY stuff. Also the emmy campaign (magazine covers, interviews), we're about to be fed. Her team better have it together!

I've been watching the most recent episodes and I so hope she gets the gig, I want to see her doing the monologue and all the sketches.

And about the promo I am so ready for it too, I hope they do some of these Youtube series although it looks like they only do them for movies lol. Already May and still no lead single. Why? 

I guess IFP was really the lead, after all lol, and once it got rejected by the fans they didn't know what to do next. They scrapped the song and went the silent route since then. No more snippets or anything, we didn't even get studio photos/videos anymore. 

 

i hope she doesn't postpone the lead /album for the next year. She usually lose interest/change her mind  in things after some time. We don't need another Rare situation. The girl  was over the album/era before it was even  released. No wonder the promo sucked, she was bored bored and in another mindset that didn't match the album anymore.

 

Release the album shortly after finalized is the best option IMO

 

Also, kinda concerned about the fact that she thought IFP would be a good lead

Yeah no. She would never tease a lead to an album like that and spend a month doing so only on TikTok. She started teasing that song around the time the Kali and Ozuna song for WSS came out so it was probably for that and maybe the album got scrapped after the movie didn’t do super well commercially.
