It really is interesting how so many of us appreciate Rosalia and the quality she puts out.  We must have an ear for quality

I saw her today in Athens for the first time because my bf dragged me to her show and she was amazing!  That girl has so much energy and charisma in her!

they were fun at the moment but they are where they belong. Not album worthy. My favs are Aute Cuture, Juro Qué and A Palé. The rest are meh. And the standalones post-MOTOMAMI are trash lmao (except ORAL)

ORAL is exceptional! Your list is lacking Dolerme though, and then I agree, they're her 5 best (outside of her albums ofc)

Björk - Beyoncé - Rosalía

Thank you God for putting me on Earth during their lifetimes

My journey with Rosalía started in the summer of 2019.

Im from Canada, so she wasn't breaking through in a mainstream way the way she was across Europe and Latin America. I love to watch Grammy prediction videos, and this one channel was predicting her constantly for a Best New Artist nomination at the 2020 ceremony.

I looked her up, and saw that EMQ had an 8.8 from pitchfork, and raves from just about everyone else, so I gave it a listen and wow…

When Motomami came out I was hooked forever. I don't speak Spanish, but I don't need to understand the lyrics to appreciate an artist who crafts at that level.

I'm a Beyoncé stan first and foremost, and she gets me excited the way Bey does whenever either one of them make any moves.

I know it just came out, but Lux is making a play for my all time favourite album…

Yeah, I missed Dolerme. Include that one, it's good for what it is.

I dont know if its my upbringing and the fact i had to go to church every Sunday until I was 18 (i was raised in a catholic household), but LUX resonates with me on a very deep level. Absolutely stunning piece of music

I thought I'd be the only one who felt this way on here lol.

I've liked the songs I've heard from her (Motomami) and respected her talent but listening to Berghain tapped into my childhood growing up on classical music; something I haven't appreciated much in years. I listened to the album last night and was extremely moved. I don't know if this was her intent but it made me feel so much more connected to my culture and faith. Don't recall the last time an album made me feel that way.

Which halves do you enjoy more:

First Half (Sexo, Violencia y llantas to La Perla)

Second Half (Mundo Nuevo to Magnolias)

not her in La Revuelta saying yesterday she woke up with an orgasm lmaoo i have to say that happened to me at least 3 times in my life and as good as it feels it's also a ******* mess :rip:

Is tour announcement happening today? I saw some posts about but I dont know if they are legit.

*💃

  • First woman from Spain in being top 5 (or even Top 50 or less) in USA (Bilboard 200) ever.

  • First person (men or woman) from Spain with Spanish album being in the top 5 in USA (Bilboard 200) ever.

(people like Julio Iglesias or Enrique Iglesias were (majority) English songs albums and people like Rocio Jurado, Rocio Durcal or Alejandro Sanz and others with Spanish albums years ago were in the top 200 at 90/80 or 70 or I don't know but not much up.)

  • First person with a Spanish album being top 5 in UK ever. (And first woman from Spain being in the UK top.)

(included from Latam (or other countrys). Bad Bunny or Karol G doesn't.)

  • First person in being both top 5 in USA and UK with Spanish album ever.

    • And more countrys probably.

  • A history record moment. 👏

thank you! I just noticed it's the new version and it never came on Shazam!

Not the LUX Tour making me go back to Motomami

Say what you want: Motomami translates extremely well on stage. Most if not all Motomami songs were highlights on the tour imho.

I do want to give a shoutout to Mio Cristo, Berghain, the "I love you baby"-cover and La Yugular being other amazing moments.
