  1. The "couple's connections to the guy" being an invite to their own personal wedding.
  2. Listening now for the 1,000th time. AOTY
  3. "In less than a year of operation, the facility recorded at least three detainee deaths. One of those deaths, Geraldo Lunas Campos, was officially ruled a homicide by the El Paso County Medical Examiner, who cited "asphyxia due to neck and torso compression" following a violent use-of-force incident by facility guards—a fellow detainee told the Washington Post that at least five guards restrained and choked Geraldo Lunas Campos while he repeatedly called out "No puedo respirar" or "I can't breathe." Another death was a presumed suicide, occurring amidst allegations that facility guards participated in a staff betting pool on which detainee would die by suicide next." This is what you are defending in the name of a mediocre singer, simply because you have invested too much of your money, life, time, and identity in her. I get that you feel like you're in a hole you can't get out of. I get that you think you are in too deep, but you aren't. She invited a fascist executive to her wedding, and he's not the only one. Joshua Kushner founded a predatory health insurance company and is Trump family by marriage. He, too, was an invite. You are fighting tooth and nail in the name of fascists and fascist sympathizers. Ask yourself why? You are fighting against yourself in this thread. You are defending the side that is actively against people like you!
  4. Ok, so many problems with your post. First, only 22% of America voted for Trump in 2024, that's nowhere near a majority, that's not conducive to most Americans sitting at dinner tables with MAGA. Second, I'm not deriding Taylor for inviting a random republican voter, I'm condemning her for inviting the administrator of an ICE concentration camp. Even less Americans support ICE than voted for Trump. Analogously, It's the difference between a 1940s German person having a member of the party over for dinner, and Marlene Dietrich inviting Rudolf Höss to her very public wedding. Third: Beyonce, Ariana, and Sabrina being in the vicinity of deplorable republicans is not close to comparable with Taylor inviting a concentration camp manager to the most personal and intimate event of her life. If your defense only works by pretending these relationships are all equivalent, then it isn't much of a defense. No amount of false equivalences, straw men, or ad hominems will make Taylor's choice to invite such an abhorrent person to her own wedding any less disgusting.
  5. The fact that the "smart" Swifties are the ones obfuscating this entire conversation is depressing. They aren't smart, just cowards. In contrast with her more rabid fans, who defend everything Taylor does with their entire chests, these ones go quiet. They pick at disingenuous strawmen, but run once the straw catches heat. Their silence when it comes to Taylor Swifts closeness to fascists is not neutral, their silence is an answer, their silence is an endorsement. The fact that Taylor Swift just married into a family with direct ties to Amentum, the company running the ICE concentration camp in El Paso, and her husband's childhood best friend is the son of Amentum's executive chair, whose other son is a republican state representative in Ohio, means those are the people sitting at the family table now, and no amount of deflection changes that, which is exactly why the "smart" ones would rather muddy this conversation than admit they're in a headlock.
  6. I'm also interested in why Taylor fans currently spamming the ICE wedding guest thread aren't being hit with multi-day bans? You seem to be a fan of my posts across multiple threads, yet somehow you had no answer when I directly quoted you @Headlock. Did you miss that one? Let's try again:
  7. @ATRL Administration its time to, as swifties would say, "drain the swamp". The mods with an agenda have got to go. It seems so:
  8. Simple question: do you support Taylor inviting a fascist to her wedding?
  9. She stands for one thing, money. Silence is in her financial interests.
  10. There is no excuse for inviting an operator of the largest concentration camp in the country to your wedding. Despicable and telling choice. Also, funny that I get banned for three days for posting about how republican Adam Sandler officiated, and Trump posted an Eras tour poster, and apparently 'spamming' the wedding discussion, but all these new ICE supporting Swifties roam free? @theperfectcelebrity2025 has been spamming this thread endlessly for days with no recourse. This site needs an overhaul, and something needs to be done about the mods who care more about shielding Taylor than doing their jobs. The constant thread merging was unconscionable. I'm glad this thread at least is allowed to stand.
  11. Your queen was just married in a 60 year old stadium that smells like a urinal. I just saw the LUX tour there, the smell is foul. Two days later, someone died falling from the nosebleeds. Taylor just got married on a basketball court that smells like sweat, urine, and dead bodies.
  12. @PenguinTim Its time to update the thread title, as now we know the private ceremony narrative page six tried to float was fake.
  13. Adam Sandler is a registered republican. He has literally performed at the RNC.
  14. IMG 2490 — PostimagesHow sweet, Trump is showing his support on the official White House socials. I wonder if she'll say anything this time? No? Completely unrelated, interesting choice to have Trump voter maga republican Adam Sandler officiate.
  15. Are you safe now? It's so thoughtful of ATRL to shut down to protect your safety during these harrowing hours of Taylor criticism.
  16. As a New Yorker, it's so over for her. She's such an *******. She really threw away the brand she has spent 20 year building in one single day, for nothing. So tone deaf, so tacky. I'm not surprised, but casual fans seem to be.
  17. Ok, so which mod tweeted this?
  18. I literally worked in the wedding industry for half a decade, I have never met a couple who hadn't already "married" legally before the actual wedding. Not once. That legal process was a "ceremony" with at least one witness that would happen days, weeks, even months before the wedding party. Still, the wedding was the party with save the dates, venue, ring exchange, guests choosing their meal. But sure, Taylor is going to walk down the aisle and exchange rings with her fiancée at MSG at a party that's totally not a wedding, but just a post-ceremony which still inconveniences thousands, costs tens of millions, and is celebrating their legal marriage. Please be serious.
  19. Literally everyone gets legally married before the actual wedding these days. This is Tree trying to spin webs to make the ostentatious monstrosity seem less grotesque. This just means, like everyone else, they already signed the legal documents. Nobody is signing those at the courthouse day of anymore. Impressive attempt at narrative twisting, ms. Pain!
  20. I'm thinking the venue will look something like this: But the dress will be more something like this: Or this:
  21. "Critical titles" would be the direct quote
