It really is interesting how so many of us appreciate Rosalia and the quality she puts out.  We must have an ear for quality

I saw her today in Athens for the first time because my bf dragged me to her show and she was amazing!  That girl has so much energy and charisma in her!

Despite being a genius and a legend in the making, la Rosalía apparently doesn't have a base yet, so here we are!

Let's start with a little ranking: how would you rank her four albums?

And also, what did you do with all of her stand-alone singles post-El Mal Querer/pre-MOTOMAMI? I tried to arrange all of them into an album but I don't know what the perfect tracklist would look like.

Hello Fellow Rosalia's fans, I speak absolutely zero Spanish but I've loved and adored this queen for years now.

I never got into her debut….  The other 3 are amazing albums for me and kinda hard to rank not going to lie because they are so different. However, hard things have to be done sometime and there you go

1. LUX

2. Motomami+

3. El Mal Quer

4. Motomami

While at it:

I have to admit LUX is my first full album experience with Rosalia. Ive heard some of her songs, i know shes a great performer, but i havent listened to any other album of hers so far. I'll definitely give her albums a go once i can let go of LUX, which seems quite impossible atm for the foreseeable future

OMG sis, you're in for a great time...

I'll never forget my first time listening to El Mal Querer.  It got me through covid shutdowns lol

Gurllllllll MOTOMAMI is going to scrap youuu since you are a Bey stan, you can appreciate great  experimental music!

also listen to this girl, I know you will  appreciate her over doing the vocal  runs lmfaoooo

I dont know if its my upbringing and the fact i had to go to church every Sunday until I was 18 (i was raised in a catholic household), but LUX resonates with me on a very deep level. Absolutely stunning piece of music

How did she not have a thread, criminal

I thought people just didnt use it :biblionana:

My Ranking:

1. Lux

2. El Mal Querer

3. Motomami

4. Los Angeles

LUX > MOTOMAMI > EMQ > LA

they are all 9-10s though.

While MOTOMAMI has a few skips for me (Candy, Chicken Teriyaki, Abcdwhatever and i didnt care much for La Combi Versace either) its production is way more ambitious/daring than EMQ. Although EMQ has no skips at all it is too short.

I'm a fan since she released Catalina so LA was the album that made me fall for her. I've never been a fan of Flamenco but it's the way she envisioned it and made it very contemporary that had me hooked. And it's funny cause that's the controversial part of it, Flamenco has a very purist background.

they were fun at the moment but they are where they belong. Not album worthy. My favs are Aute Cuture, Juro Qué and A Palé. The rest are meh. And the standalones post-MOTOMAMI are trash lmao (except ORAL)

I think Rosi will gain a lot of new non Spanish speaking fans with this album. Her fame is going to take a turn!!

I learned of Rosalia when she performed at the 2020 GRAMMYs, and was addicted since.  I had no experience with Flamenco, but I was hooked after that performance lol

Lux > Motomami = EMQ > Los Angeles.

Los angeles is last purely because i haven't listened to it that much. I do really like Catalina and El Redentor tho.

i've also compiled all of her droplets into a playlist that i treat as an unofficial album.  I love Juro Que, Aute Couture, Dolerme, A palè , Me tracionaste and more recently her collab with Raphie Choo. :gaycat5:
