Phoebe Bridgers - 'Lost Weekend'
This is one of those special albums that makes me love music and writing so much. It inspired such an insane, existential feelings in me, I have been injecting it into my blood, listening all day every day, driving, on the train or bus, walking, working (when I can get away with it), before going to bed, when I wake up in the morning, etc. It's an AOTD contender for me, even an AOTC tbh. She's been a favourite of mine since I discovered Punisher, that album serving a very special purpose for me for many years, but this is something else entirely. I've only felt this way about a very select few albums in my life, Lux by Rosalia, Javelin by Sufjan Stevens, and Melodrama by Lorde. Just an all-encompassing record that I'm so grateful to have the privilege of experiencing in real time. Thank you Phoebe xx

Is the roll-out for this Phoebe Bridgers album genius?
Please give a review, I'm desperate to hear from a fan, not a critic lol

Anyone go to the planetarium shows?

Phoebe Bridgers - 'Lost Weekend'
God these reviews have me so excited. I was randomly listening to Stranger in the Alps and Punisher earlier this year, and when the announcement was made it felt like fate. Lost Boys killed my hype slightly, the song is fine, nothing great, but the reviews (specifically from The Guardian and Slant) have successfully reinvigorated me.

Lana announces double album with Stove and cover arts (?)
The way I've been streaming NFR NONSTOP the past week. Literally only that album nonstop for the first time in years. I must've known Jesus was coming back

Charli xcx - 'Music, Fashion, Film'
This made me so excited. There's quite literally nothing I respect more than a star willing to throw everything away in the pursuit of their artistic impulse. Whether the album stands as one of my favourites or not, this will undoubtedly further cement her as one of the greatest to do it. it reminds me of ultraviolence. After the backlash to BTD, Lana could've done so many things, but to double down on her artistic vision in such a brash way is what I think cemented her legacy.

How do you think this album will be received? I'm very excited, I love the direction she's going, but it feels like fans and critics alike are going to let this album fall by the wayside

Olivia Rodrigo - 'you seem pretty sad for a girl so in love'
I actually crafted a whole music video for it in my head that is essentially just a shot for shot recreate of the city of stars scene where they dance through the sky lmao

Ryan Beatty - 'Sweet Fortune'
Wow this song is perfect. We're so back

Charli xcx - 'Music, Fashion, Film'
She definitely is. She has the keen awareness of popular culture that made Gaga one of the most exciting forces in music for the first five years of her career.

Charli xcx - 'Music, Fashion, Film'
I think this album concept is one of the most genius things she's ever done. It can be viewed as an almost blatant commentary that speaks to the fact that in the modern gig economy, pop stardom doesn't exist as one medium of expression. To be world dominating, you need your foot to be dipped into the worlds of fashion, film, television, social media, etc. You need to be everywhere, all the time. Even the idea of Rock Music, a song that says she's doing something that she really isn't…it sounds like a guitar lead version of what she's always made…is so so smart. The song is great, it sparked the conversation she wanted, people are talking about this era in a way that's different than they were with Brat. She is one of the most exciting forces we have working right now, it's not even a competition at this point.

I was also thinking in regards to Wuthering Heights

Realistically what do we think Charli's Grammy noms are gonna look like next year?
