It's always been like this though. I feel like this time, a lot more people know.

 

If you've been paying attention for the past 72 hours, I don't see how folks are disappointed by this. It's giving what it was always going to give. Meg might act unbothered, but it's no way she is happy over what Nicki is doing. She probably feels she has to do all this so rap girls stop dragging her man to get at her. That's super frustrating because neither of them cared when they were begging for features. However, I don't know if Nicki is going to recover from this though. it'll take some time.

Get away with this. The whole internet has been dissing her for days, in fact for years, so what's really the difference now?  If she wants to believe that this is the best diss ever, she is going to. She has gotten her point across and Megan is not unbothered. The girls can try popping shots since it went so well for latto. It's not about whether she's a battle rapper or not, no one is expecting an actual battle track from her.

Nicki literally spent 48+ hours awake tweeting **** and ruining her image, fueling cokehead and schizophrenia rumours while Megan was just seen out at a club and said she doesn't have social media. Really? Were surprised that someone who has been ranting on all social media platforms for the past week released another rant on a beat?  Of course its going to be bad. She's not even trying. Nicki's image has been weak for years, they can try it and see.

Megan is acting unbothered naturally. She is probably happy Nicki is promoting her song, but I don't think she expected this meltdown. She is human so mocking her abuse and dead mom has to be upsetting. I'm saying nicki has gone too far for her not to be affected by the Twitter shenanigans especially since the barbs tried to dox her mom's grave. But she has good people around her, and is very level-headed, so she'll rise above it. 

Her tweeting the *gaspy* lines out & her live episode definitely hindered the impact. 

 

Objectively, this is the better diss. But the production is clearly rushed & the last minute is sloppy & wasn’t needed - there was enough to unpack in those 2 minutes & it could’ve been tightened up. Half of the matter is presentation, & that has been slipping. 
 

Even with its messiness, it’s still bar for bar more lyrically fun and entertaining. She called her out her name six ways to Sunday… and she has 4 more lmao.

There are some cute lines here and there but overall it's just embarrassing. Just when I stopped listening to those Stationhead lives, she gave me a Queen Radio-esque rant on the actual song...
