Ice & Tea both likely would've benefited more than what they are now by being associated with HOI, at least in terms of fan support/streams/sales, but it would've been short lived & unsustained. 

 

Onika's disorganised self does not present enough of a convincing case for someone to sign, outside of her fanbase's support, which she's demonstrated can be rescinded on a whim. 
 

She also incorrectly advertised it as "a label", when it's little more than a joint distribution venture in its current state - which is likely why she's barely retained any of the acts originally announced as "signed".

 

I get that it's in its infancy, but she needs to find an act & actually demonstrate HOI can support & platform said artist, monetarily, with visuals, promo, management, production budgets etc. which she is yet to do - & I highly doubt she even has the infrastructure for.
 

That stuff requires dedicated time, investment & a whole team & is not particularly ADHD compatible. What happened to that ex-Roc Nation exec she said was on board? 
 

Anyway, it's also a bad idea to sign to a currently active act that's also in your specific field/genre. Just look at what happened with the Little Mermaid Girl & the horny vocalist sister, careers collecting dust even with billionaire backing, a business man daddy & business owner Mumma.

Someone relatively unknown, yet skilled & self sufficient, that would actually see it as more of a massive benefit + also isn't playing in the same field, and then build from there.
