yeah at this point it's clear they won't actually do proper 4k remasters even for the re-releases and it's a shame. 

This is the 40th year of her first album...if they are giving us these weak upscales now they won't be doing anything better for her 1st album videos later on this year for sure 

She looks gorgeous in the Borderine video, whoever said she wasn't beautiful needs new eyes.

And this is not even me being b**** or something, many other artists got their music videos properly remastered.

 

I just want to enjoy watching her videos in the best possible quality.

there's so much erasure and rewritings going on.. she's always been seen as a woman straight guys wanted to ****, girls and gay men wanted to be/emulate.. it only slowly started to change when she showed her stronger sexual side in the early 90s.

I remember reading somewhere that they lost the original archives of these videos and thus can’t do a proper 4K. It was a major issue with Celebration (the music video collection) in 2009 If I remember correctly and a lot of people complained about the low quality vids.

Such a shame they've lost it, but on the other hand how's possible to lose every single tape, something's not right.

the big rumor is that propaganda films, who did many music videos for M had an office at the twin towers and thats where a lot of the reels were stored

I'm sure lots of directors have these videos stored as well. Mary Lambert is one of them.

If they cared, they would find them. 

An alleged setlist. Songkick is usually reliable but I’m not sure
