it's safe the say the album will either come in October/November to maximize Xmas sales or she'll just wait until next spring. she's usually teasing new projects months in advance so the fact that we've not heard about Godfessions 2 in a while tells me that it's not ready and she won't release anything before 2026.

 

my other theory is that maybe she'll want to release it in November to mark Confessions 20th anniversary? 

The single in August/September with album coming in October/November. Next year she'll tour stadiums with both Confessions (20th anniversary tour + Part 2)

Oh how i wish Madonna was a manageable woman and had a better team. Mariah might have a decent hit in 2025, that is something we will never have unless M and her team play their cards well. 

I became a Madonna stan in 2009 when she had already released 11 albums (but probably like 15+ albums worth of material given soundtrack songs, b-sides, compilation songs, etc) so it took me a long time to really catch up on all her work and become intimately familiar with it.

 

Because there was always so much older material to discover, I purposefully avoided listening to any of her pre-Rebel Heart unreleased leaks. I figured one day she'd do the re-issue thing, and it would be more special for me to hear them when they got released officially. 
 

RoL is (obviously) one of my favorite albums ever, and the fact that I'm going to get to listen to a new song from it (Gone Gone Gone) next month is truly surreal to me  I'm so glad I waited and I can't wait to hear it! 

I have just watched Sticky and Sweet tore for the 100th time and omg, it's an almost 20 years concert and still looks so cool and hip! People focuses a lot on how great Confessions is, artistic wise, but on S&S she exhibit so much vitality that is crazy. A very entertaining show all around, great setlist and with one of the best renditions of LAP ever. I just wish the final edit didn't have so many effects on her voice otherwise it would be perfect. Her sugar was rawww.

I kind of feel this year will be the Veronica Electronica and Bedtime Stories EPs. She would have started teasing if a new album was coming.

I couldn't disagree more. Don't know where to start.  and I actually LOVE the album. I hate all versions of classics tho. 

 

Probably the ugliest and cheapest stadium tour I have ever seen. 

Sticky & Sweet Tour was a fantastic show to experience live. That was the first time i saw M live and it'll always hold a special place in my stan heart.

At this point, I have let go all hope of Madonna ever having another hit.

 

But since I stan her for her actual craft and not the numbers/charts, all I am asking for is new music lol

I remember Madonna mentioning a while back that she was halfway through the new album and I doubt she ever really stopped working on it. I think the silence rn is intentional.

 

Her team is probably still figuring out the best way to roll things out, especially with so much going on in her world right now. After announcing the Bedtime Stories re-release too early, I imagine she's being much more careful this time around.

In honor of Madame X's 6th anniversary, gave the album a listen. Here are my opinions nobody asked for. 

- Medellin is a nice song but a very wrong choice for lead single thinking commercially.

- Crave, Crazy, Fas Gostoso should've been singles. I know Crave was a single in US but it should've been properly promoted. 

- Dark Ballet, God Control, I Don't Find are pop masterpieces. 

- I hated Future at first but i like it a lot now. 

- Batuka and ***** I'm Madonna are hard passes for me, always skip them.

- Crazy and Looking For Mercy are as close to a traditional Madonna ballad as they can be.

- Killers, Extreme Occident, Come Alive are all good songs. I don't care about I Rise. 

 

Overall it's a good album and it's great to see Madonna still getting inspired for music after MDNA and Rebel Heart. Can she do better? M15 will show us that.

Yes her body her choice but god, I never thought THEE Madonna would become this.

 

Other than that, her face and hair are looking great right now
