The way they picked the singles is quite logical. 1) TEoG doesn't have such a recognizable and big message as BTW to have been the lead. Plus, Gaga already teased the latter at the VMAs. 2) Judas was the second single because I believe they relied on its similarity to Bad Romance. Plus, it is very edgy and catchy. And Gaga was all about pushing boundaries back then. 3) I agree that they could have chosen a different song instead of You and I, but it is one of Gaga's favorite tracks from the album which she started singing a year earlier in 2010, so it's logical why it was chosen. 4) I think there were some polls which asked about which song should be the winter single and MTN was the fan favourite. It was a great choice frankly. Schaisse could have worked as well, You and I not so much during the winter.
