I would like her to be a legacy artist atp. Maybe after LG7. She don't have to do excessive promos herself, just release her music when it's done. Do some performances when she feels like it since it's her best form of promoting music. If it smashes, great, if not it's okay as well. I think she has passed the point when she needs to explain her artistry and vision of her works.

i can't recall any instance, in 15 years of stanning her, where she gave a concrete date for something and let it fizzle out or pushed it up without notice.

 

and before you even try quoting me read that again; a specific date or month. pushed it/change of plans without notice. so no, her stupid fan deluded "promises" of certain releases and remixes and projects that never got a certain time frame are not eligible as arguments for this matter. but please, prove me wrong if you really need to prove a point

 

the song is coming this month, october 2024, and her silence means absolutely nothing. the only thing that means something is a full on postponement or announcement so until then please stop acting weird and hurt regarding the upcoming release

It's ATRL and we are pop music fans, and fans of a mainstream artist. Of course we care about success, just like we all celebrate when she smashes. 

 

Of course we care more about good music rather than success, but in her case good music is usually (not always) successful, and when the GP says no, it's for a reason…

It's kinda sad but I agree with this wholeheartedly and I have seen it with my own eyes. I have been a stan since Just Dance and I live in the biggest city of my country. I have been particupating in offline activities of the LM base here so I have seen all the shifts. 

 

LMs used to be the biggest and strongest base around her first 2-3 eras. Things started to get "shaky" once ARTPOP striked all the way through Joanne and Cheek to Cheek. Members started to drop when every era passed. She picked up a few new fans during ASIB but that's nothing compared to the earlier base. With Chromatica it kept things just a bit stable but that did not hold for so long. 

 

I mean we found it hard to fill a small cinema venue for Joker 2 last week  when we used to even hire a small arena-like venues for our very first offline meetings durimng TFM/BTW. 

 

I an lucky to remain a stan now. 

 

But yeah I have seen many success stans move on to stan for other artists like Taylor, Olivia, Billie, Sab, etc. Some of the fans, on the other hand, moved on from pop cultures and only care about their personal lives now.

 

That's just how it is.  If she keeps doing this, the number of stans will start to keep dropping (it may not even be a matter for some people tho so it depends), but it will result in cases like the Harlequin's numbers.
