Most people don't like to admit it, but her career is basically over. Things were already going downhill with Chromatica and House of Gucci, but Joker was the final nail in the coffin. I would be surprised if she is ever able to chart on the Hot 100 again now that she's Hollywood's Most Unwelcome. We had a good run guys.

LG7 wont open with those numbers but we should pray for those numbers lol!

I'm expecting LG7 to open with less than 143 

If it does more than that then its a hit, if not... well, we had a good run!

Imo the movie suffered from having a sequel that is not needed. At all. The acting is good, the cinematography is good, the music is good. But the story itself is god awful. Not because it was

Why would a movie have to have something big happen to be meaningful? The point is to deconstruct Joker and Arthur and see who he really is after the first movie. I don't know why some of you still insist this movie is pointless. It has a theme and it explored that theme, it's not pointless. You can argue it didn't execute that theme well, but it has a point. God franchises movies really have rotten many audience's brain.

If you're a comic/Joker fan and just want to see the typical Joker action movie there are already load of those. If it went anywhere like those then that's truly pointless.

Because essentially what happened to Folie A Deux already happened to with the first film, the riots, the idolization of joker etc the sequel needed something FRESH and that should what Harley brought up on with the sequel but they failed to capitalize on that and instead wasted her.

I didn't say it was pointless, I said a sequel was not needed. Yes it's more of Joker internal turmoil (like the first installment) but the movie wasted so much time with unnecessary scenes. Worse his supposed partner was relegated to a background character as the movie went on.

 

FAD could be condensed into a 30 min short film and the story could still conveyed the message of Arthur's struggle. But they stretched it to a 2hour runtime
