The way Adam Driver was in HOG and Megalopolis yet I don't see Grace Randflop saying his acting career is threatened.

I saw the movie last night. I enjoyed the film, it's high anrt and unhinged. Joaquin and Gaga's performance is spectacular, I agree gaga is under utilized. This Review really encompasses my thoughts on the film

HoG was absolutely not a flop. I've accepted JFAD for what it is, PANNED. But HoG did great for what it was and when it was released. Feels like people are just making stuff up now.

ASIB - Acclaimed, smash hit, beautifully launched her acting career while also revitalizing her music career

HOG - Mixed, did well at the box office considering its genre and the pandemic, Gaga praised for her acting

 

Jfad unfortunately is the only miss in her filmography so far. ASIB went better than ANY first role could've gone for her, like seriously the smartest move ever + she was SO rewarded for it.

 

HOG had its issues but I think it is more positive than negative for Gaga. and if we are discussing box office, I think its performance was actually quite impressive.

It's very hard to blame gaga for the box office on "Jfad" IMO. It doesn't land.

 

For HOG, the movie had perfect synergy with what her audience/fans liked in a movie. She was also the lead. It made sense that she was credited In many ways for its success.

 

It was a VERY gaga role for a film you'd expect gaga's fanbase to at least be interested (she is known as a fashion icon, known for her Italian roots, she has a commanding role that fans would like to see). Same with A star is born, PERFECT for Gaga's audience.

 

for Jfad, I could be TOTALLY wrong but I don't think the first Joker is as synergistic with Gaga's audience as ASIB/HOG. So I wouldn't expect her to be responsible for a boost in its box office as I would for ASIB/HOG.

 

If anyone is to blame for the box office its the creative team behind the movie that made a movie that doesn't appeal at all to the fans that supported the original, of course they weren't going to show up once they saw it was a musical and read any spoilers about the plot. Gaga isn't the one to blame here!

Grace's tweet about comparing Gaga fans to Star Wars fans and saying we should be demanding a statement from her about what was left on the cutting room floor.  It's never that serious. She's whack.

As wrong as Grace is for saying this, some of the posts I'm seeing aimed at her are really not it. Can everyone chill the f out. 

Saw it on friday and honestly it started out promising but eventually turned into such a boring movie for a comic based movie

 

the musical part wasn't even the worst part tbh 

 

the writers could have done so much more 

a #1 movie & #1 song in the world
