I do feel bad for her. The movie does indeed seem to be bad but I've read enough reviews and reactions to work out that it isn't as bad as it's being painted as. The first movie was also bad, at least this one tried to do something interesting. Gaga really doesn't deserve her first big blockbuster to be a bomb just cos she trusted the wrong director. Hopefully LG7 is a big smash for her and then she can focus on her tour, her family and eventually more movies and more music. 

She should at least have made a post to say that the film was released in 'DGAF about the critics' mode.

 

But now, if the lead for LG7 is indeed in October. It would be cool if she kept quiet until the announcement to make a real break between Joker era and lg7 era.
But I don't really believe it, because there's the physical release of the Harlequin album coming up + her little concert that's probably going to be available.

The lead is dropping in less than two weeks, and she's not postponing it over this mediocre movie where she barely has a role. 

 

Yeah, it sucks, but I'm confident she had enough time to process Todd's final cut. If they scheduled LG7 with the lead single in October and the album in February, they likely anticipated things could go wrong.

At the same time, DWAS is the #1 song in the world. She can release the lead on the 18th without any issues.

Why not do november 1? It's a friday and just 1 day outside of October. More time for DWAS to do what it does.

What I'm afraid of is that lg7 will be somehow connected to the Harley persona… she mentioned herself Harley inspired/influenced her both special project and studio album.

Ah yeah you mean this, I ordered from her store and it's already on its way. Will buy third vinyl though since my local store will sell black exclusive vinyl on 11  and I didn't even like this album

I'm not sure if it's confirmed but thanks to @ViviLittleM's friend we know that the rumored release date is Oct 18th  

I kind of feel sad regarding Gaga's award campaigning plans because for sure they already booked magazine covers etc. for rollout and now the abysmal reaction to the movie kinda jeopardised everything

Before she drops LG7, can she just push DWAS to #1 first. Like girl ship those vinyls and sell some signed copies

Yea, anyone in here saying LG7 lead should be postponed cause of JFAD panned bomb are letting the OGH on here get into their head. I really don't think it will affect it much. Better to move on and keep going imo

 

if anything, I initially found it VERY weird that the single was gonna come out the same month as the movie; I wouldn't be surprised if she/her team on some level anticipated JFAD doing poorly
