She'll probably announce the 15th for the 18th

And it doesn't work like that. The song you loathe will be someone else's favorite and vice versa.

I ain't saying a short album equals a good album, I'm saying that it's far more likely for a shorter album to have duds and for a longer album to become overblown and have not so good ones sprinkled in there. It's just logic.

Take ARTPOP for example since we're in Gaga base. There's a GREAT album in there but two or three songs bug it down a bit.

And the whole "I'll love this song but someone will hate it" argument is a hypothetical that renders the whole discussion useless imo

she should wait to announce it and if JFAD actually bombs release it on october 11

I looked it up on Target's website, and the JFAD soundtrack comes up. 

 

The lead is basically upon us and we have some good covers to tide us over with 2 great original songs  who cares about certain bases the music is good. Some people can't turn on their faves albums without their ears bleeding.

Do u think she's doing the same as DWAS and Harlequin? Like start teasing a few days before, properly announce like two days later and then release that friday?

I'm assuming she'll announce the single in the same week that it's being released, so I'll wait for that "Y'all thought I forgot? #LG7" Instagram post on October 23

Seems like Joker 2 is trending OK in Mexico, continue to have some mixed trends on it. On Monday, the fan screenings occur, so probably a better sense then on how it'll actually play out. 

I've been thinking and realized that while jazz is not my thing at all, I REALLY liked the whole Cheek To Cheek songs and performances, and what lead to that too (The Lady Is A Tramp). I just don't like the songs on this album . And I think her jazz voice sounded better during C2C than it does now. Sometimes on Harlequin they come across as shouty and not as smooth as I expect jazz voice to be. I remember watching a video of a jazz musician or expert reacting to her and he said something like that, and I think he's right. Her earlier jazz performances are brilliant. The newer are just good, with some great exceptions. 

There was also the factor of novelty. Making a JAZZ album with TONY BENNETT right after ARTPOP? Now THAT'S experimenting and being brave.

 

Let's hope her next p̶o̶i̶s̶o̶n̶ passion project sounds more like

I wanna be cautious but our lil' side project is still #1 in AM Germany  and still #3 in UK  and still #6 in US

I'd love to see her announce the song week of joker like oct 8th and drop it oct 11th, but I'm predicting announcement oct 15th, drop 18th

10/18 seems like the most logical choice all around for the lead release.

 

10/4 isn't happening, 10/11 is too soon after Joker, and 10/25 is too late for a Halloween hit. 10/18 gives at least a week for the film to have its initial hype before entering a new era + making an announcment.

October 25th is cutting it close to November. If the lead gains traction, it would be better to have more days before the start of the xmas freeze imo
