I remember she said how she had no support from her peers when she first came into the scene so she wanted the new acts to feel supported.

the way literal legends like Madonna, Grace Jones and Xtina were all coming for her back then in her debut era at 22 years old  even though she gave them credits and said they're her fav artists

But DWAS hasn't boosted her own catalogue that much - I'd have expected her songs to do more from having a #1 on TTH. ASIB was fantastic it transformed her streams. Chromatica didn't do much for her streams in Gaga she fell out the top 10 streamed females the following year. Basically releasing music doesn't always effect catalogue in the right way 

 

Joker movie and entire awards season will boost her discography as well.

We need to understand that the entertainment industry was very different back then. Nowadays, supporting other artists is seen as a positive thing, but older generations will remember how the media was constantly trying to create rivalries between artists and trying to create "divas" more than pop stars.

Katy Vs Gaga was the last big one. 

 

This doesn't mean I approve of how badly Gaga was treated, but it's important to remember that "you exist in the context of all in which you live and what came before you"

She's back to having 5 songs getting 1m streams. Pre-DWAS her highest streaming song was hovering around 800k and she had less than 10m daily streams.

 

Edit: Also TTH didn't really help DWAS gain more streams because the song was already getting 10m+ streams or close to it. And I don't really expect that playlist to boost her discography when the main function of that playlist is to promote singles.

On Sept 3rd she will likely have some interviews before the premiere happening the next day, so I guess between tomorrow and the 2nd
