To be blatantly honest you have not a clue what goes on behind the scenes so your claim of "her team who doesn't hae a care in the world to make her playlisting (.....) blah blah" is just heresay. Take a breath and be patient and try not to get your inner go-to conniption fit get the better of your adult self.

And you know what goes on behind the scenes? Y'all just say anything at this point and then add a few insults at the end. :rip: If lesser known artists get into TTH, then I'm sure if Interscope made a case for HMH, then it would be in the playlist. It's Lady Gaga + it's the soundtrack single of a movie that's on track to open with at least 150M. Come on now. Don't give me that behind the scene bullshit.

But, to someone’s earlier post, this is the same label that only released one single off of a blockbuster soundtrack from a globally-successful debut lead acting role. So..

Yup.... Disgusting!

Spotify is a business. They care about maximizing their brand value and revenue generation. Her team/label can only do so far as pitch the song. It's then up to the editors if they like the pitch and see hit potential and would want to put it based on the metrics they already have (song growth, listener conversion, ROI on playlists, tons of other factors)

It's not as black and white as "her useless team is not doing anything!!!" and "TTH = hit". This base needs more nuance.

They honestly listened to the crap new Dua track, or Camila Flopbello and thought it’s about listener conversion? Lmao

HOLD MY HAND HOLD MY HAND HOLD MY HAND  HOLD MY HAND HOLD MYYYYYYYYY HAAAAAAAAAAANDDDD

No one is saying the movie won’t give it a boost. It’s a missed opportunity to not capitalize on that boost with more exposure.

I mean sure, but it's not like it not having a spot this week means 1.) it'll never be on the playlist 2.) it would do anything more than give it a bump.

I want the song to succeed but soundtracks are a gamble anyways, songs from movies that become hits are exceptions, not the rules.

Its only and only about money

Considering it’s pulling more streams than songs with greater exposure, you’d think it’d be getting more playlist reach (even if not TTH).. Not losing it :deadbanana:

This Hell by Rina and HMH only have a +20M difference in playlists. Same with Miss Tove Lo's last song.

It doesn't make any sense.

In fact, Taylor's This Love (Taylor's Version) has a bigger reach than this. :dies:

1. It’s a soundtrack single.
2. It’s a ballad.

3. It’s currently doing just above 500-600K daily on Spotify

Why would u expect it to be added on TTH? :toofunny2:

Yeah. I don’t think we disagree — I’m just hoping it really takes off by this time next week because of all of the movie-goers and then gets randomly added to TTH. Otherwise, yeah. It’s not lookin’ pretty.

Maybe it’s time for y’all to accept the hard truth: Spotify listeners dgaf about Ms. Man in 2022 and the algorithm knows that. It’ll be added if and when the song starts gaining organically.

Dua and Camila are both younger, Gen-Z facing acts that debuted in the streaming age. It is what it is :michael:

How dare you fume? No one should show any negative emotion in this thread. You need to be level headed.

The soundtrack single argument is tired when it’s being pushed as a radio single worldwide. Most soundtrack singles aren’t.

I'm gonna stop obsessing over this and let it go. It is what it is. We're not new to this sh+t.

Except for Gaga being one of the top listened-to women on the platform for years now..
