Yeah. Depending on what the competition ends up being, I don't think it's implausible that Joker becomes a legitimate win contender for BP. If C/M looks like it could be a layup and it would be a reasonable inclusion, they'll push it there.

Gaga has 2 sonic directions that I think could see her repeak in terms of musical quality & really let her artistry run wild. Like Enigma at TCB on LG7. She was uninhibited & captivating, letting the music take over. I want THAT energy

it's the Globes that have the final word on that placement tho, like I remember 'Respect' was pushed in Comedy-Musical and a HFPA member on Twitter said they moved it to drama field (with consequent miss of all the nominations, not that it was deserving).

 

I was thinking that if EEAAO fit that category despite being rated R with some dark themes and violent scenes, maybe this can fit too, not sure, it really depends from how the movie turns out, if it's gonna remain very dark like the first despite the music elements I still expect a drama placement, obviously I agree that comedy/musical would be more ideal from a win prospective chances.

Like I said the other day, it's more about the reception, even if it's not packed but let's say you have 3-4 conteders very acclaimed it's still not gonna be easy.

 

 

Gaga and Angelina being the Best Actress frontrunners. I know Jolie's Lips is celebrating somewhere.

Leave the Twincest alone. They are great at their insight regarding the Oscar Race. They attend festivals and see movies ahead of awards season.

 

But most importantly, I like how their taste aligns with mine. The way they stanned Parasite and EEAAO. The way they disliked House of Gucci especially Jared Leto had me hollering because I too have the same sentiments.

yeah joaquin probably won't give a **** about it, so all the attention + the push will be behind GÀR
