not sure if anyone else posted this but this is what we've been saying  truly in her own lane 

Album is definitely 2025....as it should be. 

 

Looking back her birthday post about MUSIC was not just referencing pop music, but probably Joker (seeing as the opening line of the trailer is about music). That's why she edited it to add Joker in. She also posted it to hold us over until the trailer. And she didn't seem like she was that deep into it during the NikkieTutorials thing (her deeply inspired comment was giving 'the door is open").

 

She's still actively writing/working and with all the releases going on, I think everyone (her and Interscope) probably think it's best to push it. I do believe they had some plans for '24 but people things can change. 

 

She can use the Joker momentum to announce a tour at the end of the year with the album in spring. It's an open lane, all eyes on her. AOTY on lock if it's good with the new goodwill she'll gain from the Oscar movie.

 

Not totally sure, but I'm also starting to think that pic w/ the Prince picture might've been for the movie seeing the Prince/Batman tie-in, which would explain why the horn player was so frantic. It's not just Gaga's team, but them freaking out over WB too.

As others have said, I'm fine with waiting until 2025 for LG7. Even though we low key knew Joker was going to be a serve, the trailer still surpassed my wildest expectations. And if we're getting original music on it, then that's an even bigger plus. They can take their time to really ensure that LG7 gets the rollout that Chromatica was going to + then some. Of course, that's assuming the world doesn't end in 2025. And we do stan the harbringer of doom, after all
