Did a Spaniard from Europe or someone from Latin America do something to you? Bad Bunny is also Puerto Rican. He has spaniard blood but he's not 100% Spaniard (Not saying there aren't Puerto ricans that are pure Spaniard stock like josh segarra but bad bunny is clearly mixed).

Can I just say, cause there's been a lot of discussion regarding the choice of Gaga as Harley, with many being skeptical at first, that we shouldn't ever forget that out of the 3 most prominent people connected to this film (Todd, Joaquin, and Gaga) she is BY FAR the bigger talent, and they all should feel lucky and humbled that she CHOSE to be part of this project.

 

sorry but I've seen people mention she needs to prove herself as Harley and I'm here reminding everyone that they're the lucky ones to have a generational talent such as her associated to this project, and she doesn't need to prove sh*t, and she will devour this role like it's nothing and leave no crumbs, 'cause that's what Gaga gives on a regular day.

I like the poster personally for what it is. It conveys the look, feel and tone of the movie perfectly despite not being the most visually striking or creative.

 

Joker also had a similarly basic but intriguing first poster followed by more interesting and artistic ones later on and we'll probably get some really nice, gritty, refined shots as the rollout continues.

 

 

 

Hope we get a solo Gàrley character poster too, both ASIB and HoG are just so good

I know it's early, but Gaga has to do really bad to not get nominated and with at least 20% of the movie + her good acting bits in the trailer being singing I doubt she will

 

 

People will often use HOG as proof that we should not get too cocky, but Gaga missing HOG was genuinely a shock to most people and was not reflective of how deserving she was to be nominated. She got every other nomination, including the BAFTA, so it made sense to expect an Oscar nom for that.

 

Her loss only helps her this time around. The Oscars are voted on by people in the industry, and those people love a good "comeback" narrative.

I'm still torn between her competing for BA or supporting  a BA win would be bigger and one of the biggest moments of her career. However, if Supporting is easier for her to win, it would be amazing too and I really don't want her to leave empty handed

Gaga wants that Best Actress Oscar. She has no interest in supporting 

 

Leaving empty handed isn't a bad thing. A nomination is a big win. She has a whole career to win BA. She is still considered a rookie in the movie industry, after this movie she should be considered a veteran

Eh, at this point, for her, it's more important to position herself as a true leading lady and movie star. Her winning in Supporting would be equally as huge as winning in Lead, but her campaigning in Lead would be better angling for the rest of her career.
