There are barely any if you specify it to Hold My Hand Lady Gaga. 

 

I've seen more videos using Lizzo's new song and that made the song see success. TikTok is such a powerful promo tool.

Amazon is seen as drug store quality makeup among makeup consumers, while Sephora is seen as having much higher product quality standards. People 18-45 would rather get their makeup off of Sephora.com or in store as opposed to Amazon.

nah. It's a business move. Let's not act like Gaga is on some moral high ground when it comes to business transactions. She performed at Coachella when she knew well that it is lead by super homophobic christian leaders. Ultimately she is the most activist and caring popgirl and that is all we can ask of her.

This was a 100% business move and is extremely SMART.

 

Sephora has brand recognition, a great reputation and you can sort of expect quality products when you shop there. Amazon is more like the wild west. Sort of like Ebay. 

 

Plus Sephora provides free promo. Anytime anyone walks past it in the malls or any of the millions of ppl that have email subscriptions will get tons of notifications that new Gaga products dropped on a regular basis. 

 

It's why many of us were confused why she chose Amazon initially. My theory is Sephora wanted ot take too large a percentage of the revenue. So Gaga decided to prove her brand and model via Amazon so that she can then approach Sephora with a proven business model which will then encourage them to give her a very favorable offer with them taking lower profit percentages.

Has it been doing well? In comparison to other celeb lines? Presumably it's a good thing for HL to be in Sephora...but how good is it? Expanding to skincare would suggest things are going well?

Right, but it just cant compare to the reach and convenience of Amazon. I just know how she thinks and there was and still is controversy about Amazon and workers rights, so I have to wonder if that is really the reason, or a big part to the reason.
