I'm shocked ! They used the song for a trailer !
This is the 1st time I've seen/heard a TG's movie trailer with the song ! So they are not ashamed of the song in the end... sometimes I wonder if they really like the song, because it's like they don't want to use it for the movie's promo...

The movie release is still almost 3 weeks away. Why would they be ashamed of the song when Tom and the cast/crew is singing her praises everywhere? 

 

Of course they like it. Some of y'all really want and expect smashes right out the gate but that's not how it works, not with soundtrack singles at least. Give it some time.

She's singing it at TCB and maybe at the Oscar and Grammys if she's nominated?

Btw I was thinking about HMH last night and I realised that for someone who preaches love and kindness, its odd that she decided to make a song for a movie that is American military propaganda. Like, are they going to bomb Middle East more *kindly* after this song? I know she probably did it for the cheque but she is not someone who needs the cheque tho. She can make that money anytime she wants with another song or a concert or make up or with some ads etc. She is a houshold name, so she doesn’t need the recognition either. 

Its seems off for me. What do you all think?

I truly think she saw good in everything or maybe lesser of the two evils and not necessarily agreed with the whole thing. Military is always painted as the villain in the consensus and I agree with that cause we have diplomatic ways to avoid conflict but it also a tool of security for a country. Now, she probably thinks  it is just a movie with a nostalgic factor without thinking deeper than that. You know Ga loves old hollywood and whatever attached to it so yeah

Nnn thats true. The sis loves nostalgia and old Hollywood. Hopefully one day she will recreate Whatever Happened to Baby Jane with Katy Perry
