I don't know why we got sidetracked to that issue. My point was about Sydney Sweeney. She is in a relationship with a Democrat that actively supports Democrat candidates. There is no evidence that Sweeney is a conservative or MAGA like some people try to say.

You're the one that's making it about one issue. Just because you disagree on that one issue doesn't make you a conservative.

Hillary and Kamala are liberal Democrats. They support abortion rights, gays rights,.... They are not "conservative". You must be just very far left.

Rubio has potential because of the Latino vote. He is very conservative on social issues though like being very anti abortion which could turn off independents. The whole Republican party has a problem with the abortion issue now because the anti abortion fanatics will demand a federal abortion ban from the next republican pres nominee and that will turn off a lot of swing voters.

Most people don't realize this song is inspired by the book Hollywood Babylon which is a book about gossip which is also what the song is about. Its actually a really clever song. Underappreciated.

Also Hillary was running during a change election after 8 years of Democrat (Obama) rule. It's very hard for a party to win three presidential elections in a row. The Democratic party was also divided because of Bernie Sanders who never really gave her his total support. And then Comey released that letter 11 days before the election when she didn't have time to recover. With all that she actually did pretty well. Kamala was a much worse candidate. She was a disaster in the 2020 primaries and dropped out early. Even if she didn't have Biden's baggage she was seen as a San Francisco liberal with no appeal to the working class. The only reason she became the nominee is because Biden made her vp to get the black vote to turn out.

If you're a Democrat you love right wing extremists in the Republican party. They are turn off to swing voters and cause Republicans to lose. If you're a Republican you love left wing extremists for the same reason and is a reason why they'd be extra nice to them.

I don't think being pro-choice is the problem. I would drop gun control instead then you're being consistent for freedom and people's rights. I would not vote for a Democrat that was anti-abortion especially not now after Roe v Wade was overturned.

There was nothing wrong with the ad. The problem is her registration if she's a conservative and if it seems like she's a part of maga. She needs to separate herself from that.

When you think about her career and her nude scenes she doesn't really seem like a Republican, at least not a conservative. People may be jumping to conclusions.

It depends on what her positions are on issues. If she's pro choice, for gay rights, separaion of church and state... then it doesn't matter to me. She could agree with Republicans on economics or some other issues. As long as she's "socially liberal" Im ok with it. She probably hasn't thought about it and is just registering the same as her parents and that's all it is.

Joe Biden is not far left. He's a moderate which is why he won. Voters didn't believe Kamala was which is one of the reasons why she lost.

You needed to be in a battleground state and see Trump's ads. They all painted her as far left. You can label it what you want.

Kamala wasn't a real moderate/centrist, she was pretending to be one. She was a San Francisco liberal who took far left positions in the 2019 primaries then flip flopped just for the 2024 election. That's what Trump's ads painted her as and they worked. The other reasons she lost is inflation, illegal immigration, and crime.

The only hope for the supreme court is that when Thomas and Alito retire that Trump does what he wants and chooses moderates instead of listening to conservatives and the christian right. That's probably unlikely, but that's the only hope there is. Sotomayor has to hold out until after 2028.
