There's no a right way of doing (or portraying) an Italian accent in English, we have +30 dialects and relative accents based on the region, there isn't only the stereotypical Sicilian one used in majority of American movies with italian characters, people with a high education have a hint of British accent as they teach that in schools with relative literature (with UK being more closed to go to learn the language there better), lot have it similar to Spanish speaking people, there are tones of factors playing.

I personally have for example a more American accent since I have been exposed more to American media (movies, tv shows.) since lot of years and it sounds natural to me that way of talking in general.

 

Gaga was fine, especially in comparison of real Patrizia video and definitely more credible than Adam Driver who was speaking in perfect American accent.

The tour was rescheduled (and extended), she shot and released another music video, and performed at the VMA's. The next Coachella didn't happen until 2022 so obviously she wasn't going to promote Chromatica there  Could we have gotten more content from the era? Sure... but we need to stop acting like she did absolutely nothing with the era when there were other artists releasing albums and doing 0 performances (Ariana did literally 1 interview for Positions, 0 performances, and 2 MV's).

Listen, it's been 4 years, I've obviously moved on long ago, but... of course the Chromatica era would look like a serve compared to a low bar like this, that's not really the point  And what if we compare it to After Hours, Future Nostalgia or Harry's House? Then what?

This has been talked about nonstop, so I'm not even getting into it. The era sucked.

Yeah. I don't know why it has to be so black and white. But the point has been made for 4 years, so it's whatever.

I have a feeling a lot of the black looks lately are a hint at the Joker campaign, not just for LG7. She'll probably have a darker vibe for all of the red carpet looks, and it gives her a way to channel that without seeming overly "goofy" and unserious. (As much as I'd love that side of her again.)

Well yeah ofc those eras had more but they were also artists in much earlier stages of their career's than Gaga so obviously Dua on her 2nd album and Harry on his 3rd are going to do more to promote it, so it's not really comparable. Also Harry's House came out in 2022 when the world was in a completely different place than during 2020 at the height of the pandemic
