lms always saying gaga so busy and always working but judging by michaels weight gain she been busy cooking pasta 24/7 in her malibu mansion, say goodbye to chromatica ball film, say goodbye to any decent rollout, i just WISH she would be transparent... instead of not talking to us for years and just doing private events behind our backs

Exactly, Gaga clearly is moving away from her career as a pop star and it shows. Music will always be something cares for but she seems so far removed from the Lady Gaga we know and loved.

 

I wonder how much her career will change after she releases her new album and the reception it gets.

It's funny how this thread is now divided into two groups: those who are tired and disappointed with the new Gaga and can't stop whining about it (myself included) and the kindness punks who can't stop kissing her ass and defending her even if she were found guilty of killing Lina Morgana.

When it turns out the secret project was a Gift-like side album for Joker. It could be a psychedelic-rock masterpiece; and LG7 could be the big pop comeback in 2025

I understand being frustrated by the lack of music content, I am too. But the fan meltdowns about the last week events are so absurd to me. It's not that serious.

 

 

Waiting sucks, but this year is gonna be great. She will be everywhere after August and we are definitely getting new music a few months from now at max. Plus, her streaming numbers have never been better and she will have a lot of boosts we will be able to follow this year.

 

I just hope she is taking this long to release a new album because she wants it to be her best one yet. I have really high expectations after all this waiting.

Guys, I'm on your side, I'm sad about the state of her public persona BUT if you think that "bulling her into doing something" is the solution well... 

 

 

I fell in love with her because she was so passionate and inspiring. Bullying her into doing something would feel wrong and dishonest. As dishonest as her last post in which she announced a bunch of things that never came true (CBT film, etc.).

We do not know that. 

I mean, it's clear she doesn't care anymore like she did in the past. It's sad and disappointing.

 

It's also funny to talk, whine, and make memes about it, but in the end, we must accept that she's prioritizing other things beyond music, and we can't do anything about it. She will still release albums every few years, but only to sell us some jockstraps and merch. Her passion is elsewhere, and it shows. 

 

 

(But that doesn't mean she won't deliver amazing music. Chromatica was great, imo)

im just pissed cause we had "reliable" insiders like blade and that other one being like omg Q1 2024 and NOTHING.. like nothing AT ALL... we had like 8 countdowns in feb with friday and tuesday and nothing materialised and now it feels like.. we really don't know if its coming... soon... summer is just ridiculous to drop the lead.. considering she was saying tik tok tik tok like 3 weeks ago.. those words should not be used unless a drop is IMMINENT.. my whole body was literally re-coded expecting a q1 release and now it's looking like Q3 since taylor is coming in Q2 and nothing will survive on the charts when that happens.. but knowing gaga its probably when she will drop.. lowkey feel like she doesnt want the success so she can convince the label to drop her lmao

I think the big reason monsters are such a vocally discontent fanbase is that Gaga has had the biggest demographic and brand shift from The Fame/Monster -> Born This Way -> ARTPOP -> C2C -> Joanne -> ASIB -> Chromatica -> Rich Lady that the hardcore loyal fanbase she cultivated in those first 3 or so eras has stuck with her so long through so many major image and career shifts.

 

Like it’s not hard to imagine the trajectory of Rihanna, Taylor, Beyonce, etc from their debuts till now. But there have been so many unexpected twists and turns for Gaga it’s hard to imagine going from 2009 VMAs to Clinuvel

I 100% agree. If you think about it, we are the only fan base that is sad. Rihanna's stans have given up. We grew up with the biggest pop star (not success-wise, but art-wise) in generations, only to end up with Clinuvel and Jazz shows in Vegas. Our discontent is understandable. 

 

And before some kindness punk attacks me, saying that this is stupid and that I need to touch grass, let me say that NOTHING about stanning a pop star is rational. Yes, it's stupid. It's a hobby.

So you are mad at yourself because you believed an insider with incorrect information? 
 

Only 8 countdowns? There was like 30. Like countdowns to nothing are fun, but these essays about disappointment are not fun. Go listen to other artists. I spent the day listening to Letter To Self by Sprints. My life doesn’t depend on Gaga dropping new music. She can take her time and live her life, you should do the same

its not even justt that... gaga's music has SAVED so many of us, mentally and physically and is a comfort that we have been used to since our child-teen years, she's like a second mother for many of us and to have her just poof into thin air is reaaaally awful to go through, im convinced those people telling us to be rational and touch grass stan 30 other pop stars, don't feel a deep connection to her through her music and are just into pop culture, gaga is so far outside of typical pop culture, she IS the culture for us.. i been stanning since i was 12.. im 27 now and we've gone through so many era's with her, stuck with her through born this way, (where it was seen as gay to stan her and she lost a lot of gp following) artpop (when people thought she was crazy, disgusting  and a flop) and joanne (well... anyway) and then with chromatica (having such a boring era, being accused of imitating her old self poorly and then disappearing) we've been battered, our hearts shattered, our souls splattered... but we still love her and want her to do well with everything... i just don't want to be punished with silence bc other stans send her death threats and awful words personally so she feels like she needs to hide.. i wish she'd just be active... thats it literally... i dont need to be fed constantly but since 2016 i feel like i dont know the recent gaga like we all knew her... anyway.

The TFM EP deserves to have all of its tracks above 100M on Spotify. I hope it eventually goes viral as a whole, kinda like Lana's BTW did.
