The whole Mr S debacle was because he let us know there was a date of release for new music in May 2019 before the schedule changed and there was no clear date anymore. It’s pretty logical they wanted more time after ASIB kept smashing post Oscar, until they settled on 2020 being their big run at it.

I don’t understand giving Shallow and ARUTW that much breathing room. It’s not like they would’ve stalled the second Chromatica launched.

The album was still being worked on until March 2020 so it’s quite literally impossible for them to have ‘moved’ Chromatica into 2020 because of ASIB. They simply weren’t finished
