I do think they were excellent collaborators, they definitely brought out the best in each other 

 

wasn't boomkack saying that she was responsible for gagas success or something, I would be fighting too if someone went on to take all the credit. I mean, shes an excellent choreographer, she definitely understood gagas strengths and weaknesses when it came to dancing, but she was crossing the line in 2011 

Well, no one is responsible for her success singularly, just like no single one of us are responsible for our own career success. All careers are a combination of your own contributions and those that are around you. 

 

I’m not disagreeing on BoomKack, I’m just pointing out Gaga began having some team “drama” from 2011-onward until things settled back in with Bobby.

It’s also less of a “Gaga” thing, and it seems to be the norm in the industry. Whether it be her, Britney, Taylor, etc. — It just seems like a very toxic environment.

I’m not meaning to imply anything about Gaga’s talent or her motives, but I think it shows when she surrounds herself with different types of personalities. 

Yeah there’s no doubt about that tbh, I think we can all agree that Gaga could do much better with who she surrounds herself with.

 

PI was an odd choice for lead no doubt, but it must’ve been hard to pick a single considering how the more commercial songs on the album (DIC) didnt convey the theme/direction of the album. From what we know chromatica seemed like it had a really well planned rollout with performances and festivals, and I have no doubt sour candy would’ve been a single which would’ve given the era more life. 
 

All in all, I think this era should have a much more structured rollout since they know by September/October they’ll have to switch gears to JFAD which gives them all the time before to focus on the album. It’s also nice as a fan knowing that she will be promoting another project at that time so we don’t have to worry about her going AWOL for another year once the album is out.

Yeah, but what they should've done was send just 911 instead. And ignore IGAKOOY for that category. I know they wanted LFS to be nominated as much as possible, but even if IGAKOOY had a chance at winning video (which, let's be honest, it had not), 911 deserved the nom and possible win.

 

Chroma era would look so good with 2 deserving Grammy wins.

911 mv was really good! The concept was so well done but… 

Born This Way doesn’t have a Grammy at all - and that was actually a solidly commercially successful era and super acclaimed. Chrome never made any GF noms the year before they probably thought best to move on - esp as the Grammy panel had changed that year

I guess they didn’t submit J(WDYTYG) to MV/Roty over Shallow, and the same applies here for Tony’s death Grammy narrative

Cause you said that Chromatica deserved more Grammys but poor Born This Way has none . I looked it up and i think IGAKOY was her first Grammy nom for MV since bad romance .  I wonder if they submitted MTN for MV?
