"Big artists" (if they appeal to the same demographic) typically release new albums with a one-month-ish gap in between. But Billie now is bigger than in the past even if her last album underperformed so idk if they would do the same 

 

However, there are a lot of exceptions. For example, Selena Gomez and Eminem released their albums only a week apart, and they are both under Interscope.

Same for Gaga and The 1975. And then again Selena and Lana 2 weeks apart. 

 

In the event that she does indeed release in late February or March the lead single, there is a possibility of releasing the album two weeks prior to Taylor's release. However, releasing the album in April/May after Taylor's release is not a viable option, as Billie has already secured the first available spot for a guaranteed number one debut. 

 

So yeah, Gaga can realistically release in March/April or June/July

They tried 911 then free woman as well as sfa on a tv advert there was no movement anywhere same with it having three songs on TTH. The era died with rom because that was the only hit. I don’t think Gaga’s and Billie’s demographics overlapse too much, I could see them release within the same month.

Our window to release in Q1/Q2 is becoming increasingly limited.  It's really crowded, but yeah she better announce it soon or we'll have to apologize to @antpats2. 

 

The only Fridays available for her to release the album are:

 

March 22nd 

March 29th 

April 5th

April 12th (but I think it's too close to Tay)

 

- Taylor Hurricane - (and Billie on May 17th)

 

May 31st 

 

 

If she drops in June or July, this era will be even shorter than Chromatica's because she's already going to different film festivals in August.

If she releases let's say first week of June, she would still have the entirety of June, July and 90% of August to promote the album...and let's be realistic, no big name promotes their album hard three months after the release.

 

I think we have to readjust our schedule expectations in terms of how the Joker could affect it. Yeah, September and October are definitely a no-no for album promo / releases, but all the other months in the year are somewhat realistic. I'd say than in the window between April  and July for the album, every month is as likely as the other

 

Pretty reminder that the Chromatica post release era was gonna last until August or September even if everything went to plan.

Anyway, she's definitely releasing music in or before April cause that's when the Dom Perignon ad would come and with her hinting LG7 so heavily lately there's no way the commercial is unrelated this time around

I agree, you're probably right.

 

It all depends on what kind of promotion they're thinking of doing. Ari dropped her lead single two months before the album and didn't do any promo or released a second single.
