The MR video was an misstep due to scheduling conflict and did not derail the era. It still got a video, just not the one you guys thought. Totally normal thing. She was everywhere, though. We can not deny that. She did a lot.

I'm SO OVER RAP and Taylor SWIFT. Can we please have another smash Gaga era already? I want her to demolish every other artist already. I'm sick of waiting. I'm sick of culture post 2011.

Yes she was everywhere, but not where she should have been (aka streaming platforms).

Joanne's roll-out was ideal for a 2011 album, but not for a 2016-2017 album, when sales were almost dead, streaming was already huge, but she kept doing traditional promotions, while ignoring streaming platforms.

I remember how desesperate we were back then because MR wasn't being playlisted, even after the SuperBowl.

So yeah, less performances and more playlisting was what she needed for the era.

ASIB era was great, too bad she avoided performing any of the songs like it was the plague and only did one single. She didn’t even bother to release ARUTW to US radio when it was a sure-fire Top 10. 

 

Actually a clear example where even when it didn’t require a lot of effort, she couldn’t be bothered.

How many new tracks are you expecting for Joker? I think Dreamin In Real Life will be / was part of it and it leaked. I wonder if we'll get some C2C original outtakes there, but as RideOrDie said I think it will be mostly unreleased jazz-y tracks written after Joanne
